The Holidays

We had a wonderful time this Holiday Season. Ellie Jane was so much fun to watch, as she opened her presents. She ripped the paper, and said OH, and OOH! We had fun with both sides of the family. Christmas Eve my family came over and we opened presents, and enjoyed time watching the kids play and visit with each other. Wyatt, Ellie Jane, and Landon were all too cute. We then went to my grandfathers where my dads side of the family gets together, and we eat spaghetti and anchovies. There were 19 great grandchildren there, all under the age of 5. It is also loud, fun, and a little on the wild side. But, Christmas Eve would not be the same without over 50 people at my Grandpa's. With the crazy weather it took Chad, Ellie Jane, and I over an hour to get there. Since, the weather was so crazy we chose to go straight to Chad's parents and stay the night, so we would already be there on Christmas morning. Chad sister and husband also came that night, and we had fun staying up, visiting, watching the boys put Ellie Jane's gifts together. We woke up and let Ellie Jane open all of her presents, and then fed her breakfast, and play. She was then ready for her morning nap, so we put her down, then enjoyed our big breakfast, and opened our gifts. We had a great time visiting with family. Sunday after Christmas, my moms side of the family came over to visit and exchange gifts. It is always so good to see my moms side, it brings back so many memories, and they remind me of her so much. Thursday morning of New Year's Eve we left for Sweeny to see Chad's Papa. It is a six hour drive, but with Ellie Jane dvd player in the car, the ride was super easy. To make the visit a little more excited, we all stayed together in a beach house about 25 miles from Sweeny. It was right on the beach, and it was beautiful. We bought fireworks, played dominoes, and relaxed. Fun, fun, fun!! We finally had our last Christmas yesterday with Chad's mom side of the family! We went out to Mimi's house in Ft. Worth, and then to dinner at Pappasitos. Ellie Jane got more presents, and we had another great day visiting with family. The holidays are now over, I get to be at home, and relax with my little girl all week, before going back to work next week. Love my time with her. Hope that everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. Here are a few pics from the Holidays. More to come!

This was Ellie Jane's favorite gift. She loves her baby dolls, and loves putting them in the stroller and pushing them around. Hopefully this will help her start walking without holding on!

This is her new chair. It is so cute, and she loves it. Her G-Ma got her the cute Christmas outfit too. She would not keep her socks or shoes on. She never does!

I have tons of cute pictures of Ellie Jane and her cousins. Will post them soon.
