Ellie Jane is 2!

I still cannot wrap my mind around the fact that my sweet, Ellie Jane is TWO years old! Last Saturday we had an Ice Cream Parlor party! Family and friends came to my in-laws house and everyone had such a great time! We ate hot dogs and made Sundae's! Yummy! The kids had fun splashing outside in the water! She got tons of toys! A new kitchen, dollhouse, TAG reader, makeup, vanity mirror, tons of other GIRLIE toys and cute Fall clothes! Jodi got her the sweetest, little pearl bracelet! She loves it!

On her actual birthday she got to open the new Tinkerbell Movie that just came out this week. She has already watched it twice! She is in love with Tink! We also met G-ma and G-pa for dinner last night to celebrate one more time! She got to blow out candles and have another cupcake all to herself! Here is a picture of her yesterday morning on her birthday, and a couple from last night at dinner! I have not gotten the pictures from her birthday party yet! My sweet friend Jessica took some AMAZING pictures and I will be getting them soon! I will post as soon as I get them!

Happy Birthday Ellie Jane. You have made the past 2 years so much fun! We thank the Lord for such a wonderful, blessing every day! We love you sooo much!

It's Been a While!

It has been a while since I have blogged. My life has totally changed. We have moved to Richardson and love it. I started working as an Librarian at the alternative school in Richardson and Ellie Jane started a new Nanny! Chad is still at his same job- yet now it only takes him 10 minutes to get to work instead of 45! :) He is loving it! Our apartment is small, but thats ok for now, until we find something we really like. Ellie Jane loves the NEW HOUSE! That is what she calls it. She plays in her room all the time. She even shuts the door. When try to go in there to check on her she says "No mommy, no come in- you stay right there!" No joke. Already not wanting me in her room! Crazy! She will be two in a few weeks. WOW! We have made some new strides in our new house with Ellie Jane. She sleeps in a big girl bed (some nights-other nights she wants her little bed) But that is ok- little at a time! She is doing great! We are also starting slowly to potty train! She has tinkled in the potty a few times already! The biggest change for her was starting a Nanny all over again! But we got her new back pack and its made everything so much easier! We do not leave the house without it now! Its the best $5 I ever spent!

I love being so close to Jodi! She meets me three days a week to work out! I am working on losing 40 pounds! Its been great having someone to help me and workout with me! Chad's parents are much closer too! That's been nice also!

We had one last weekend at the lake house this summer before school started. Jodi, Drew and Wyatt came too! Saturday night we went to the winery and got some fun pictures!
Thought I would share some photos from the past month!

Ellie Jane and her new back pack!

She loves this thing! She was posing for me!

She has loved to help hang up curtains and pictures! Here she is helping daddy and g-pa put the hardware on the back of the tv to hang it up!

First night to sleep in her big girl bed! She never got up! ;)

Not a great pic! But funny! Morning from her first night in big girl bed!

At the Winery- they have statued elephants! Wyatt and Ellie Jane love them!

Wyatt is so handsome! He and Ellie Jane have so much fun together!

Hope to start blogging more! Again sorry its been so long!
Hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend!

Fourth Weekend!

We went down to the lake house for the Fourth! My dad, Judy, Ricky, Bobbie, my grandfather, and Uncle Mike all came out too! We had a great time. Went out on the boat, caught some fish, and ate yummy food! Ellie Jane always has fun at the lake! She missed her cousins this year though! :( They were not able to make it out to the lake this year! We will still get pictures of the three of them in there matching outfits! :) Ricky put on his own firework show for us, and we could see tons from every part of the lake! Ellie loved them! Of course I only took pictures of Ellie Jane! Hope everyone had a Happy 4th!

Play date with Wyatt!

This past week I went to my sister house two day in row to watch Wyatt while Jodi went to some workshops for school! Wow, did I have my hands full with two almost 2 year olds! Sharing is not a fun concept at this age! They both do so well at school and church sharing, but when it is their own toys at their house, NO WAY! Besides the occasional fighting over toys, they both really had so much fun with each other and love each other so much! As you can see from the pictures bellow, if they were not fighting they were playing or kissing! It is so fun to have little ones so close together!

Too cute for words! :)
Rolling around on the ground!!
They don't look like cousins- do they? :)

Ellie Jane's First Program!

Today Ellie Jane had her very first program at Mothers Day Out. It was just a five minutes long and a few short songs, but I was a very proud momma! I bought her new shoes and a new dress for the occasion! I taped the short program; yes it is very shakey! It was hard to stay still singing and clapping with them! I thought no matter how shakey the video was it is still cute and I want to share it with you! The first two songs she was not very interested! The last two songs she sang very well and did her motions just perfect! I also took some pictures of her this morning in her dress! She was being very silly saying cheeese!!!

My Silly Daughter

This morning I was doing laundry. As I carried the clothes to my bedroom to fold them, I must have dropped my sports bra! Ellie Jane walks in my bedroom like this! Grabbed my camera! Thought this was pretty funny! Guess she watches me more than I think! She knew just what to do with it! :) Have a great Thursday!

Snow- What a day!?

I am still in shock how much it snowed, and how absolulety beautiful it was. I found myself taking pictures over and over. I enjoyed being stuck in the house with Ellie Jane,
with nothing to do and no where to go! She was not to sure about the snow!
I stuck her in to take pictures, and she just stood there like a statue!

We went out again when daddy got home. This time I put her mittens on!
I asked her to show me her mittens, and she did! I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!

She actually touch the snow with her mittens on!

I was showing her how to throw snowballs! I got her in action!

Walking! Walking! Walking!

Ellie Jane has been walking for a little while, yet still crawling quite a bit. No more crawling for her! She has finally taking off It is so exciting! She is getting so big, saying all kinds of words, and doing so many new things each day! It is so amazing to watch them grow, and learn! Here is video of her walking!

Some more pictures!

Well I said in my post the other day that I would post some more pics. I really loves these pictures because they show Ellie Jane's silly personality. She is a little ham! Wonder where she go that from? Enjoy! And Annie, I forgot to charge my camera, so I am had to use Chad's camera on Christmas Eve. I do not have the right hook ups to get them on my computer, but I will soon, I promise. Those are such cute pics, I cannot wait to get them either! Sorry!

Just a sweet, little face!

Ellie Jane loves to talk on the phone! Priceless pic!

She has learned to pose! All you have to do is say CHEEESSE! She says CHEESE! With you!

This is her new scrunchy nose face! She loves to do this now!
Its cause everyone laughs at her when she does it!

This was her face when she saw her big presents!

I love this picture! It totally shows her personality!

I would love your opinion?

So, as most of you know, I quit my full time job to go back to school. I was cleaning houses on Wed. to make extra money, so Monday was my only day home, then Tuesdays and Thursdays I work Mother's Day Out. Fridays I clean my moms best friends home. I am not longer going to be cleaning on Wed. so I will be home now on Mondays and Wed. I will still need to clean on Fridays for extra spending money. I guess I just do not see a reason to spend 480 dollars a month on a Nanny if I am going to be home on Mondays and Wed, and Ellie Jane can go to Mothers Day Out with me on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 8 dollars a day. On Fridays I can do a drop in fee of 25 dollars to her Nanny! I know I need to still have time to study, but Ellie Jane takes such a good, long morning nap, and is so easy now that she is getting so big. She just plays and can entertain herself for hours. So what do you think!? Take her out? I do have to say, I love, love, love, love being with her on a daily basis! It is so fun!
Hope everyone enjoys there day today, and stays extra warm!

The Holidays

We had a wonderful time this Holiday Season. Ellie Jane was so much fun to watch, as she opened her presents. She ripped the paper, and said OH, and OOH! We had fun with both sides of the family. Christmas Eve my family came over and we opened presents, and enjoyed time watching the kids play and visit with each other. Wyatt, Ellie Jane, and Landon were all too cute. We then went to my grandfathers where my dads side of the family gets together, and we eat spaghetti and anchovies. There were 19 great grandchildren there, all under the age of 5. It is also loud, fun, and a little on the wild side. But, Christmas Eve would not be the same without over 50 people at my Grandpa's. With the crazy weather it took Chad, Ellie Jane, and I over an hour to get there. Since, the weather was so crazy we chose to go straight to Chad's parents and stay the night, so we would already be there on Christmas morning. Chad sister and husband also came that night, and we had fun staying up, visiting, watching the boys put Ellie Jane's gifts together. We woke up and let Ellie Jane open all of her presents, and then fed her breakfast, and play. She was then ready for her morning nap, so we put her down, then enjoyed our big breakfast, and opened our gifts. We had a great time visiting with family. Sunday after Christmas, my moms side of the family came over to visit and exchange gifts. It is always so good to see my moms side, it brings back so many memories, and they remind me of her so much. Thursday morning of New Year's Eve we left for Sweeny to see Chad's Papa. It is a six hour drive, but with Ellie Jane dvd player in the car, the ride was super easy. To make the visit a little more excited, we all stayed together in a beach house about 25 miles from Sweeny. It was right on the beach, and it was beautiful. We bought fireworks, played dominoes, and relaxed. Fun, fun, fun!! We finally had our last Christmas yesterday with Chad's mom side of the family! We went out to Mimi's house in Ft. Worth, and then to dinner at Pappasitos. Ellie Jane got more presents, and we had another great day visiting with family. The holidays are now over, I get to be at home, and relax with my little girl all week, before going back to work next week. Love my time with her. Hope that everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. Here are a few pics from the Holidays. More to come!

This was Ellie Jane's favorite gift. She loves her baby dolls, and loves putting them in the stroller and pushing them around. Hopefully this will help her start walking without holding on!

This is her new chair. It is so cute, and she loves it. Her G-Ma got her the cute Christmas outfit too. She would not keep her socks or shoes on. She never does!

I have tons of cute pictures of Ellie Jane and her cousins. Will post them soon.
